Ceremony: June 23, 2022 1:45pm (doors open at 1:30pm)
Robert Wagner Middle School (outdoors)
Enter the schoolyard at the rear of the school: East 75th St between 2nd & 3rd Avenues
Note: Ballroom dancers and musicians will receive early arrival information
Dues: $140 covers event venue setup, supplies, rentals, cap & gown, yearbook, diplomas, printing

Student Celebration: June 23, 2022 6:00-9:00pm is the likely boarding and dismissal timing, but we will confirm in a few weeks.
Optional sunset dinner dance cruise for students around lower Manhattan. The Skyline Princess leaves from and returns to Brookfield Place Terminal in Battery Park City; students are dismissed immediately upon return to Brookfield Place
Ticket: $110 covers buffet dinner and soft drinks, DJ, yacht rental & crew, commemorative photo booth

The above 8th grade fees total $250. Should full payment present a hardship for your family, please let us know, as the PTA is able to provide some assistance if needed.

Should you prefer to pay by check, please submit to Parent Coordinator, Beth Servetar, with THIS FORM .  Checks should be made out to ESMS PTA with your child's full name and class in the memo field.

Important 8th Grade Graduation Information

Year-end planning is well underway at ESMS! Thank you for your patience as we have navigated shifting regulations, safety considerations and event costs related to the graduation celebration. We are happy to share some important spring dates, procedures and opportunities related to graduating from East Side Middle School.

Important 8th Grade Dates

May 31-June 1 - NYS 8th grade science test - lab; homeroom dates to be assigned
June 6 - NYS 8th grade science test - written
June 16 - Algebra I Regents Exam
June 21 - NYS Spanish Proficiency Exam (morning)
June 22 - Color Wars (tentative)
June 23 - Graduation Ceremony and evening dinner cruise
June 27 - Last day of school. Diplomas distributed.

All post-graduation days continue to count toward attendance. If a student will not be in school on June 27 when diplomas are distributed, they may either pick it up over the summer or submit a self-addressed 9x12" envelope with 2 stamps for July diploma mailing.

Yearbook

Sunday, May 8th is now the Final Day to Customize your 2022 Yearbook or Place a Congratulatory Ad. Student dues cover the cost of a yearbook for each grad. Please finish yours up this week! Log in to your Treering.com yearbook here with the school passcode: 1015121555284336.
