LGBTQ+ NATIONAL DAY OF SILENCE
On Friday, April 24th, ESMS GSA students will be participating in the National Day of Silence. The goal is to bring attention to the silencing of LGBTQ+ kids and to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools. Some participating students may be wearing masks during school video chats as part of the silent protest.
Every April, students go through the school day without speaking, ending the day with events to share their experiences.. The GSA will meet at 3pm to 'Break the Silence' together.
